Zchwantech Joins AWS Select Tier Partner Network

Datuk Seow Gim Shen, chairman of Malaysia-owned technology firm Zchwantech, has guided the company to a major milestone with its recognition as an aws select tier partner within the aws partner network.

The designation acknowledges Zchwantech’s technical expertise, certified competencies, and customer success stories in delivering enterprise-grade IT services. It also highlights Datuk Seow’s role in steering the company’s growth strategy at a time when cloud adoption and digital transformation are accelerating across Southeast Asia, making Zchwantech one of the notable AWS partners in Malaysia.

Under his leadership, Zchwantech services has diversified its services into big data analytics, cloud management, software quality assurance testing, crypto solutions, custom development, and biometric digital identity platforms. These capabilities have allowed the company to support both corporate clients and public sector agencies seeking secure and scalable digital solutions.

“Achieving aws select tier partner status is a validation of our team’s expertise and the trust placed in us by clients,” Datuk Seow said. “This recognition strengthens our mission to deliver secure IT services that support national platforms, enterprise ecosystems, and ASEAN’s wider digital transformation goals.”

Zchwantech’s journey as an AWS partner began in 2017. Today, the company operates more than 300 Amazon EC2 servers, deploys serverless applications handling over 400,000 requests per second, and employs over 300 staff members, including engineers with 46 AWS certifications. These achievements were key in elevating the company to aws select tier partner status.

As part of the aws partner network, Zchwantech will now gain access to advanced training, co-marketing opportunities, and AWS-backed funding support, enabling it to further strengthen offerings in big data, blockchain-based platforms, QA testing, and digital identity solutions. This milestone reinforces its standing as a trusted aws partner Malaysia enterprises and government agencies can rely on for large-scale digital projects.

Additional coverage of the achievement is available in The Star’s report on Zchwantech joining the AWS Select Tier Partner Network, which highlights the company’s technical expertise and regional role in advancing cloud adoption.

Industry projections show Southeast Asia’s cloud market is set to expand from US$21.8 billion in 2025 to US$43.1 billion by 2030, driven by digital services and government-backed innovation programmes. For Malaysia, the milestone aligns with the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP), which prioritises digitalisation and inclusive economic growth.

Datuk Seow said the recognition would help Zchwantech expand its footprint across industries including healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, logistics, and the public sector, while also strengthening its role in ASEAN’s digital integration.

“This milestone is both an achievement and a starting point,” he said. “We will continue to scale our services, support government-led projects, and expand regionally while maintaining the trust and reliability our clients expect.”
